Cancer- the moment we read or hear about this disease, we freak out. That’s because most of us have lost our near and dear ones to this illness. But it’s not like there’s no happy ending if one gets diagnosed with it.
Recently, Hindi film actor Mahima Chaudhry, who made her acting debut with the 1997 film ‘Pardes’ was diagnosed with breast cancer. But before you start dreading her life, let me tell you that she is fit and fine and has completely recovered from it.

The actor posted a video wherein she was interacting with Bollywood actor Anupam Kher. It is through this Instagram post that the actor revealed her fight with cancer, how she was scared and depressed and what gave her hope and courage to be victorious.
In the caption, Anupam penned how he came to know about Mahima’s cancer when he called her to offer her a role in his upcoming film.
Calling her a ‘hero’, he added that her positive attitude will give hope to many women across the world.
In the video, Mahima also shared the story of how she ended up telling Kher about her battle with breast cancer. In her candid conversation, she also broke down thinking of the time when she completely went nuts and would become sad and depressed during her treatment.
“I had no symptoms of cancer and it was diagnosed in my routine checkups.” But her cute conversation with a child in the hospital gave her the courage and strength to fight cancer. She also said how Anupam Kher was supportive of her throughout her journey.

Mahima is currently healing as she shoots for a film with Kher while donning a wig.
