Iconic movies have a way of being etched in your memory. When it comes to Indian cinema, cinephiliacs swear by flicks like Sholay, Shahenshah and of course, Ram Lakhan! The popular drama starring Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit was all the rage in 1989.
Packed with action, romance and epic melodies like My Name Is Lakhan; this was a memorable film. The Subhash Ghai movie recently completed 30 years on 27 January 2019. The occasion prompted fans and the two stars to be a touch nostalgic!
That’s why Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit decided to recreate the magic behind two celebrated tracks from the flick. They went with ‘My Name Is Lakhan’ and ‘Bada Dukh Dina’. Madhuri shared the clip on Insta captioned-
“Today marks 30 years of Ram Lakhan and dancing on this song brings back so many beautiful memories. It was fabulous working with the team of Ram Lakhan,” wrote Madhuri.

Her co-star, Anil Kapoor took to Twitter to speak of the golden memories from their flick-
“30 years of Ram Lakhan and it’s been one of my greatest joys to watch Lakhan continue to bring a smile to people’s faces and a dance in their steps. I’m not one to look back and ponder, but as I move forward to new avenues, I’m grateful for the choices that got me here,” posted Kapoor.
