Travelling is always fun. There are very few people who don’t like exploring new places. 1. Palace On Wheels
Voted as one of the best luxury trains in the whole world, Palace on Wheels was started on 26th January, 1982. The train’s services were modified and relaunched in August 2009 with a new royal look and luxury facilities. The train has 14 salons named after provinces of Rajasthan, two restaurant named as Maharaja Restaurant and Maharani Restaurant, with other world class facilities like exotic bar, Spa, Live TV, internet connectivity, music and security.
This interiors of the train are no less than a regal five start hotel. This chivalrous ride covers fantastic destinations in Rajasthan like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaisalmer, and more and the journey winds up at Agra.

2. The Maharajas’ Express
The newest and most costly luxury train in India is a joint venture of IRCTC and travel agency Cox and Kings India. It started on 9th Januray, 2010 and has set new levels of luxury travel. Large dining, bar, lounge, generator, LCD TVs, direct dial phone, internet, individual temperature controls and in suite bathroom are the few features which will blind you with the bling!
If I am spending this much on a train, then I don’t see the point of stepping out of it. What a beauty!

3. The Golden Chariot
If you want to travel across South India in style, there is no better option! The train is named after a renowned world heritage site, the Stone Chariot in Hampi. The train covers some of the most beautiful and significant historical and cultural sites along with exploring the wildlife. The train has restaurants coaches, a Lounge Bar coach, a Conference coach and a gym coach.
The experience is something you’ll never forget. The only luxury train of south is completely worth it.

4. Royal Rajasthan On Wheels
Royal Rajasthan On Wheels is like an improvised version of Palace On Wheels. The similar route includes a seven day travel plan through ‘Land of Maharajas’ Rajasthan along with a halt in Agra, Varanasi and Khajuraho flaunting the magnificent architecture and spiritual landmarks. You might have gotten used to the high end features now but just for your record, the train has super deluxe rooms, Restaurants, bar, board room, fitness center, spa, saloons and enabled Wi-Fi.

5. The Deccan Odyssey
Another royal ride which is considered as one of the best luxury trains in the world travels from Mumbai to Delhi providing the finest travel experience to its passengers. It has total of 21 luxury coaches with facilities like restaurants and a bar, a sauna, business center, Computers and internet connectivity.

6. Royal Orient Train
The seven day journey in Royal Orient Train is decked up with features like lounge in every coach where passengers can read books and magazines, watch television, listen to music etc. The train starts its journey from popular spots in Delhi and covers Chittorgarh all the way to Palitana in Gujarat.
