Lucknow Teacher Slaps An 8 YO Student 40 TIMES In 2 Minutes Because He Didn’t Say ‘Present’

It wasn’t long ago when we got together to discuss child abuse and the kind of impact it leaves on young, impressionable minds. In fact, it’s been only a couple of days since we saw the crying girl in the viral video, who was seen wailing her eyes out, requesting her mother ‘pyaar se padhaiye.‘

Yes, the same kid who moved many to tears. But, while the news has left the headlines, the social evil that can potentially ruin a child’s life is still prevalent. And as bad as it sounds, it is getting worse!

In a soul-shattering incident, a teacher of a private school in Lucknow slapped a class 3 student, as many as forty times, just because he missed his roll call. 

According to News18, the teacher, identified as Ratica V. John of John Winnie School slapped eight-year-old Ritesh Gupta mercilessly because he was engrossed in drawing when she took the attendance in the class.

And unfortunately, it didn’t end at that!

 

The teacher even assaulted the kid. She grabbed him by his tie and dragged him to another end of the classroom. The ruthless woman even pushed the kid against the bench. 

The incident came to the light when the kid reached home from school and his parents noticed that his face was swollen. Later, his father interrogated his friends, who revealed the kind of assault Ritesh had to endure.

It goes without a mention, the teacher was found guilty when the CCTV footage was accessed. The principal of the school even maintained that the teacher will be fired. Needless to say, the video has now gone viral.
