Recently, a video of a girl in Lucknow went viral wherein she can be seen hitting and slapping a cab driver several times in the middle of the road, causing a massive traffic jam. According to DNA, the incident took place at Awadh Crossing in the presence of traffic police.

In another video, the woman is seen holding another man’s collar and engaging in a verbal altercation with him.

In the background of the video, a person can be heard saying, “Yeh ladki badtameez hai. Itne der takk koi ladka ladki ko maarta toh fir log kya karte?” (This girl is mannerless. If it were a man hitting a woman for so long then what would people do?)
As the video went viral, #ArrestLucknowGirl started to trend online. Several condemned the woman’s actions.

I've seen the complete video and it was clearly seen that girl was beating up the cab driver in middle of the road, irrespective of the reason. Now police filed a complaint against that cab driver.

However, according to a report by Amar Ujala, the girl narrowly escaped being crushed by a cab, driven by the guy in the video. The incident occurred on Friday night at 10 PM. The driver was returning from the airport and was allegedly over-speeding.
After the woman escaped from what could have been an accident, the traffic police nearby stopped the cab. As the driver got down from the cab, the girl grabbed him and started beating him. When the brother of the driver arrived and tried to intervene, the girl also beat him up. Here’s a CCTV footage of the incident:

The police have issued a challan against the driver.
