Loyal Dog Has Been Waiting Outside Hospital For A Week Without Knowing That His Master Has Died

I would be lying if I say I don’t cry every time I see the movie ‘Hachiko’, the story of the most loyal dog there has ever been. However, the remarkable tale of the Akita Inu is just one of the numerous cases we have come across, where dogs have given us lessons on devotion, trust, and faith.

And today, we are here with another similar incident witnessed in Argentina, powerful enough to reduce you to tears.

In a heartbreaking sight, a Labrador named Toto has been waiting for his master at the door of the Pablo Soria Hospital in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy in Argentina. According to Daily Mail, the 6-year-old dog’s master, who passed away recently, had requested his family members to bring him to the hospital to say a final goodbye.

Unfortunately for the dog, the members of the family forgot to take the poor thing home. Giving us a true example of love, Toto has been waiting for his master to return outside the hospital for a week.

However, a local resident has now taken up the responsibility to look after the dog temporarily. Speaking about the same, he said,

“He seems to believe his owner is going to come out someday to take him home.”

Toto also needs to undergo surgery on his paw and is being treated by a vet. A local animal protection organization is also looking for a new forever home for the faithful pooch.
