Desi people love discounts! Whether it’s bargaining with a shopkeeper or collecting discount coupons, we are always looking for the best deals in the market. Hence, no matter how old we are, phau wala phuchka, ‘Buy one get one free’, and Rs 10 discount will always manage to bring a smile on our faces!
However, in a bizarre discount offer, one desi liquor shop is selling “chilled beer” for Rs 140 but “Thandi beer” for Rs 150. A picture of the price banners is going viral on social media.
People on the internet are scratching their heads to figure out what the price difference means. While some suggest that the price difference has something to do with different levels of chillness, many joked that the liquor shop is giving special discounts to people who know how to speak and read in English!
Here’s how people online reacted:
If you say 'एक बियर दियो भाई ', they will charge u more..
If you say 'One Chilled Tuborg pls', they'll charge you less.
