Animals are making the most of coronavirus lockdown. Many wild animals were spotted taking rounds of human colonies in different parts of the world. In fact, monkeys had a fun pool party in Mumbai recently. Moreover, peacocks, dolphins, flamingos among other animals and birds are enjoying the lockdown to the fullest.
And the latest ones to join the party are lions. A pride of 8 lions was spotted taking a nap at Orpen Rest Camp, in Kruger National Park in South Africa. Richard Sowry, the park ranger, captured the unusual sight on his camera while he was on a patrol in the national park.
“The lions would normally be in the bushes but they are very smart and now they are enjoying the freedom of the park without us,” he told BBC.
The national park shared the breathtaking pictures of lions and young cubs relaxing on the road on their official Twitter handle. And believe us, it is a sight to behold. Have a look:

Though the lockdown has taken away our freedom temporarily, it has also given us pictures and experiences we will surely cherish all our lives!
