Football fans across the world were not just rooting for Argentina last night during the FIFA World Cup 2022 Finals. They were also rooting for France’s Kylian Mbappé. Argentina was leading with 2 goals when Mbappé showed up and scored 2 goals back to back in 97 seconds and turned the game around. The footballer scored 3 goals in the game and yet lost to Argentina.
Even though Mbappé won the Golden Boot, his disappointment was showing on his face. Even while receiving the trophy, he had no smile on his face. He eyed the World Cup.
He wanted to win it for his country and no other trophy, neither the Golden Boot nor the Golden Ball, could satisfy him.
