It’s obvious that when we visit a foreign land, we research the places that should be explored, food to be hogged and experiences to be had there. There are also such things that are a ‘must do’ for any foreigner flying to India.
Korean blogger Hyojeong Park aka Mhyochi is also having a gala time exploring the wonders of India and showing her followers what this country is all about.

Since she’s here, someone suggested she tried the very popular (and loved) candy of all time ‘Pulse Candy’ and give them her honest opinion about its taste.
I’m sure a lot of us desis have had the Indian sweet and sour candy and thinking about it brings flood in our mouths.
Since the candy is every Indian’s go-to, Mhyochi decided to give it a try. She got her hands on the candy and started filming herself while eating it.
Looking at the green candy without the wrapper on it, her first impression was it might be a melon-flavored one. Once inside her mouth, it felt a little sour to her. But when she breaks open the candy with her teeth, her tastebuds just explode.
“You have to try this in India. Looks pretty green, kind of like a melon. It tastes sour-sweet,” she initially said in the video.
For those who haven’t had the privilege of eating the candy, let me tell you that there’s this sour and sweet dry filling inside the candy (something like a mix of salt and red chilly powder), that just hits us differently.
Evidently, Mhyochi’s tastebuds aren’t used to such strong flavors and the candy was too sour for her liking.
Just seconds after eating the candy, she started howling and crying saying how sour it was.
“WTF is that!” she exclaimed. She went on to rant, “OMG, what is this. I can’t eat it. It’s so sour,” she cried. Mhyochi couldn’t even close her mouth with the candy in. She quickly took a towel and spilled the entire candy out.

Looking at her funny reaction, desis online took a dig at her and asked her to try Golgappe (pani puri) and Hajmola next time.
