Meet Ahn Hye-Jin – a 6-year old Korean girl that goes by the name Boram. Boram has recently turned the faces of the world towards her when she bought a five-storey property in Gangnam district of Seoul for 9.5 billion won (US$8 million; approx. Rs.55.6 crores).
Now you’ll be wondering- how can a little girl afford such an ambitious purchase? This 6-year old Korean star has 2 YouTube channels with more than 30 million followers, combined.
Boram, whose family started making videos a year ago, is the face of two YouTube channels – Boram Tube ToysReview and Boram Tube Vlog. The site estimates her monthly sales as a whopping 3.7 billion won (Rs.21.55 Crore). However, Boram is not the only toddler to earn millions a month.
Boram ToysReview, along with Ryan ToysReview, who is a 7-year-old internet star, has reached the milestone of top of the Forbes Richest YouTubers list in 2018, has reached this milestone. Her YouTube videos frequently receive millions of views.
The 5-storey building is on 258.3 sq.m. of land in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. And here I sit in a 500 sq.ft. 1 BHK flat (with 3 other flatmates) and a dog (and two cats…ohk, I’m exaggerating now) But you get the drift…don’t you?
