If you want to witness world-class creativity, head to Kolkata during Durga Pujo. From the pandals to the idols, lights and decorations, you will be blown away after realizing how skilful our local craftsmen are!
This year, Sree Bhumi Sporting Club in Kolkata has taken their game to another level altogether. Their theme this year is inspired by the Vatican City and the pujo pandal is inspired by the architecture of St. Peter’s Basilica.

“Everyone has heard about Vatican City in Rome, but only a few lucky people have been able to see it by travelling abroad. Their wish to visit Vatican City will be fulfilled through our pandal this year,” said MLA Sujit Bose.
According to India Today, 100 artisans have made this pandal together in 60 days’ time – an astonishing feat!
