Keeping political differences aside, Team India recently sent a thoughtful retirement gift to Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi. The gift was a Virat Kohli jersey signed by all the members of the team with a special message for Afridi that read:
“Best wishes, always a pleasure playing against you.”
The gesture was applauded by cricket fans on both sides of the border and showed the true spirit of the ‘gentleman’s game’. And now, Shahid Afridi has responded on the gift.
Today, Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to post a heartwarming thank you note for the gift to Team India.
