The world is mourning the death of retired NBA star Kobe Bryant who passed away on January 26, 2020. The 41-year-old former Lakers player, his daughter Gianna and seven other people died in a helicopter crash near Calabasas, Calif, reports New York Times.
The basketball star’s private Sikorsky S-76 was flying through thick fog when it caught fire and immediately came crashing down. All nine people on board the chopper including the pilot died in the crash. Baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri, daughter Alyssa and basketball coach Christina Mauser were among the others who died, reports Daily Mail.
According to sources, the group was headed to Bryant’s Mamba Academy for basketball practice. Los Angeles Police Department later confirmed their Air Support Division was grounded as the weather did not meet their standards. The authorities have said it could take several days to recover the bodies as the helicopter crashed in rough terrain, reports CNN.
As news of the legendary player’s death broke, fans took to Twitter expressing their shock and grief. While his demise sent shockwaves around the globe, an unbelievable tweet predicting his death has surfaced online. The seven-years-old tweet foreseeing the NBA star’s untimely death was shared by Twitter user @dotNoso in 2012.

Many people were shocked by this precise and correct prediction:

Theres no freaking way… 8 years ago someone could have said this… and then 8 years later… having it come true…

This is very bizarre, I knew he was an illuminati sacrifice, having #nine people who passed because of the crash. People in the business sometimes know what will happen to others in the business. And here's a cartoon predicting his death years prior, sick https://t.co/2ksknQGRVf

What precipitated your prediction, have you ever been told your clairvoyant or have other abilities?
Or did you know the pilot or have reason to believe he would die this way, did you dream it, can relate having had these things happen to me & why I'm curious to discuss— WTF💥 (@neveragainFL) January 27, 2020
Considering the fact that Kobe spent a lot of time riding in helicopters, it stands to reason that it increased the likelihood that he would perish in a helicopter crash. This tweet does not equal causation.

Few people even questioned the authenticity of the tweet while others felt it was genuine since tweets can’t really be edited like other social media posts:
They used an app that changes dates on tweets
