Most of us bring a pet home as they cheer us up, are a great companion and can sometimes alert us if someone’s trying to break in. But what if they are the ones stealing from us?
As bizarre as it sounds, this Billi Mausi was recently caught stealing a bundle of notes from a bar, twice, reported NDTV.
In a CCTV footage shared by the Russian bar, in which the cat lives, the feline was seen trying to escape with bundles of cash stolen from the establishment. But she wasn’t able to successfully carry out her devious plan as some customers intervened and retrieved the bundle of notes from her.
Soon after, the kitten named Masyanya again tried to slip away with some cash from the bar. However, this time Nadezhda Vodolazskaya, the owner of the pub, didn’t stop the cat burglar as she had grabbed a bundle of old USSR rubles, kept at the counter for decorative purposes. They were seen ROFL.
When Masyanya isn’t in the mood to earn some quick cash, she can be seen being all cute, enjoying her day with the customers.
“I’m not quite sure why the kitten is such a big fan of money but we’ll definitely keep an eye on her from now on and keep the cash box locked,” said Nadezhda.
