If you don’t believe in the above, then the following will convince you:
Television actor, Kiku Sharda from Comedy Nights With Kapil has been taken into custody for mimicking Dera Sachcha Sauda leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insaan.
Kiku Sharda has been taken into custody for 14 days at Haryana’s Kaithal by the police.
Kiku who plays ‘Palak’ in the famous comedy show, has been booked under section 295 A of the Indian Penal Code (outraging religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious belief).
The episode was aired on TV on 27th December 2015, and many people protested against it as they thought it offended their religious statement, and despite Kiku’s apologetic tweet still people still filed a complaint against him.
Doston the act on TV was not to hurt anyone’s feelings. My apologies to @Gurmeetramrahim ji and his followers. Let’s spread happiness. ?

Kiku said, “I have a lot of respect for Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singhji. The look wasn’t deliberate; it just happened to match Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s look. We didn’t plan it as a spoof on him. It’s a coincidence, and it is unfortunate. I am sorry that people felt hurt. We never try to do any such thing intentionally, or try to get headlines out of it, or want people to talk about our show in this manner. There is nothing more to it. I am a god fearing man. my job is to make people happy. It was a song which was picturised. I was never prepared for the act and I wasn’t informed about it earlier. I feel the TV channel should be held responsible for this as they should have checked the guidelines before airing it. I don’t understand why am I being dragged in this. Why would I hurt anybody’s sentiments? I am really really sorry if my act has done so.”
While Kiku Sharda can’t be blamed or held responsible for the act, it was surprising to see comics and journalists from all over unify and stand up to support him; some with humour and some with blatant honesty

Why did Baba Ram Rahim Gurmeet Singh Insaan get someone arrested for mimicking him? Because, he wanted to get the MSG across.

Are we really going to relive the intolerance related to humour all over? Are we that immature?
To make mistakes is human; to stumble is commonplace; to be able to laugh at yourself is maturity. – William Arthur Ward
