Well, that’s precisely how this foster kid living in Oklahoma, US must have been feeling for the past six years.

Nine-year-old Jordan has been living in foster care since he was three. But till last year, he had his brother Braison by his side at the care to call family. However, he got adopted and that made Jordan lonelier.

The kiddo was recently featured on a news segment by a foreign news channel. In the video, Jordan expressed his urge to have a family. “To call mom and dad, or just mom, or just dad. I don’t really care. The reason it’s important is that so I could have some people to talk to anytime I need to. I hope one of y’all pick me,” Times Now quoted him saying.

When the news anchor in the video asked Jordan ‘where he would like to travel anywhere in the world’, the kiddo said, “To an adoption party for a home.” When quizzed what would he ask for if granted three wishes, Jordan said, “To have a family, and family, family! Those are the only wishes I have.”

Clearly, Jordan was desperately waiting for people whom he could call family. And guess what! After his heartwrenching story went viral, his foster care was flooded with thousands of requests from people wanting to make him a part of their family, reports KFOR Oklahoma’s News 4.

As of now, the lad wishes that he gets adopted soon and goes to his forever home. Inspired by police officers, Jordan also expressed his will to protect and serve the community by becoming a cop.

Wow! This is such a wholesome and happy piece of news to kick-start the week. Hope Jordan gets adopted soon and lives with a loving family.
