‘Finger lickin’ good’. That’s what KFC claims its chicken to be. And I wouldn’t question it given the number of people who like it. But what do you do when you feel like having some good ol’ fried chicken and all you have access to, are your nails?
KFC seems to have figured out this problem with the introduction of their chicken flavoured nail polish!
That’s right. The fast food chain has come up with two “edible” nail paints that apparently taste like chicken.
The two shades, Original Recipe and Hot & Spicy have been made with a secret blend of 11 herbs and spices.
KFC explained,”To use, consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick – again and again and again.”
Ad agency Ogilvy & Mather and food experts at McCormick teamed up for this and created the nail paints. They also came up with a video. Customers are invited to cast a vote for their favourite color/flavor.
If the campaign turns out to be a success, the food chain will soon launch a Nashville Hot Chicken version of it as well.
