Recently, Kerala High Court granted permission to a pet owner to go out and buy biscuits for his cats, reports the New Indian Express. Petitioner N.Prakash had approached the court after the police rejected his request to travel to Kochi to buy food for his cats.

Have a look at the court order that read, “We helped avoid a CATastrophe in the petitioner’s home.”:

This is the cutest thing EVER – A man was refused a travel pass to travel to Kochi to procure cat food by the district…

During his hearing, the petitioner told the court that he had three cats at home. He mentioned that he is a pure vegetarian and is unable to cook non-vegetarian food for them. He went on to say how he needed a particular brand of biscuits to feed his cats, reports News18.

The man, who had exhausted the cat food since the lockdown, needed to step out to get the supplies. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the court held its sitting online. And, after listening to the petition, the court gave the man a green signal to proceed. The pet owner can now go to the cat food store by producing a self-declaration and a copy of the judgment. What a purr-fect judgment by the court!
