On one hand, Maharashtra suffers drought, while on the other ICC World Cup matches are getting repeatedly postponed due to rains. Of course, this has got the cricket fans frustrated. The heavy rainfall in England has even left the participating cricketers disappointed.
People were even more annoyed after the India-New Zealand match was canceled after unstoppable rain on Thursday.
Indian bowler Kedar Jadhav is also among the ones frustrated over the untimely rains. In a viral video, Jadhav is seen asking the rains to go away to Maharashtra, his birthplace where people need them more. “Rain go away to Maharashtra, people over there need you more,” he says in the video.

Here's a brilliant moment from our very own, Kedar Jadhav. ❤️
KeJa [to clouds and rain]: Go! Go to my state, Maharashtra!
KeJa [with folded hands]: Rain is required a lot more in Maharashtra, not here (England) at all.#CWC19 #INDvNZ #Maharashtra #TeamIndia #drought https://t.co/mIzBA7GYwP

As far as records are concerned, before this year, only two ICC World Cup matches were abandoned since 1975. On the contrary, the 2019 World Cup has already canceled 4 matches due to the rains.
Just like Jadhav, we too hope the rain goes away from England and blesses Maharashtra instead!
