Karnataka Student Fails Exam After He Writes How To Play PUBG In Answer Sheet

In yet another case of PUBG addiction, a Karnataka student failed his pre-university exam after he filled the answer sheet on how to download and play PUBG instead of writing answers.

The boy who has secured distinction in his exams last year confessed that the game has caused his downfall, reported The New Indian Express.

He used to be a topper in his academics until he fell prey to the PUBG addiction. The boy admitted that he was so engrossed in the battle game that he forgot his exams were around the corner and so, lost track of studies.

His parents often spotted him being busy on his mobile phone but he somehow managed to get through by saying that he was chatting with friends.

The teacher who spotted the boy’s PUBG answers in the exam while checking the paper complained about it to the principal and decided to discuss the issue with his parents. His parents schooled him on the risks of PUBG addiction and took away his mobile phone. The boy says that he has realized his mistake.

“I was studious, but got attracted towards PUBG as it was entertaining, and soon got addicted to it. Sometimes I even bunked classes to play the game and sat in the nearby garden.

“I got angry with myself and wrote about PUBG in the answer sheet. Now my parents have taken the mobile away, but the images of the game continue to linger in my mind. I realise how dangerous a game it is,” said the boy.

The teachers were familiar with the students jotting down Bollywood songs lyrics in the answer sheet for the questions they can’t answer. But steps to download and play PUBG is a completely new sight for them.

From a young man drinking acid instead of water while playing PUBG to the youths who died as a train ran over them while they were playing PUBG along the railway tracks, the ever-rising cases of PUBG addiction only make us wonder ‘when will all this end’?
