Heroic Karnataka Auto Driver Provides Free Rides To Pregnant Woman, Physically-Abled & Soldiers

While the virtual world has always advertised superheroes as individuals with a mask on their face or a cape on their back, the reality begs to differ. In matter, superheroes don’t come dressed up in stylized body armors but are normal human beings like us, with a heart of gold.

And one such example is Munnesa Managuli, an auto driver from Karnataka, who is an inspiration for many.

Munnesa Managuli, is a selfless auto driver who rushes to the aid of the needy, irrespective of the time. The man does not care about late hours and has also decided to provide free rides to pregnant women, women who have given birth recently, physically-disabled people, soldiers and Kannadigas living in border areas.

The 42-year-old is also a BA graduate who started driving an auto 11 years ago, after facing unemployment. He is clear about the people who he wishes to offer free help and has plastered it over his auto along with his contact details.

He is just like any other auto driver who offers his service at the metered fare to regular passengers. He also dedicates his service to a single passenger for a whole day on rent. However, if Munnesa receives a call asking for emergency help, he does not think twice to offer his service immediately and free of cost.

Speaking about the reason behind his heartwarming act, Munnesa says that it was the sight of a dying pregnant woman back in 1992 that forced him to become an auto driver. Back in that time, he saw a pregnant woman die because of the absence of an ambulance or any help which prompted him to seat on the driver’s seat.

However, the auto he drives is not his own and has a cough up of Rs 250 each day. His dream is to have his own auto one day.

Take a bow, Sir. The world needs more heroes like you. 🙂
