Back in April 2021, rumours of Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan falling out made headlines. It came after ‘Dostana 2’, which was to star Kartik, Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya in lead roles, got shelved and there were speculations of Kartik getting “fired” from the project. Amidst all the noise, Dharma Productions posted an official statement on social media saying that they would prefer to maintain a “dignified silence” and will be “recasting” for the film.
However, in a recent turn of events, Karan Johar took to his Instagram stories to promote Kartik Aaryan’s next film ‘Shehzada’.
“Masaale se bharpoor aur entertainment ka zabardast tadka. Congratulations to team Shehzada,” Karan wrote while also tagging Kartik in the post.

Apparently, Karan Johar had unfollowed Kartik Aaryan on Instagram after the ‘Dostana 2’ drama and now he’s following him again.
However, people couldn’t help but laud Kartik for maintaining a dignified silence and not playing along with the who’s who of Bollywood.
