Kapil Sharma Earns More Than Alia Bhatt And Tiger Shroff And Yes, It’s A LOT Of Money!

Kapil Sharma is a big deal on Indian Television. Top actors, actresses, and producers make a beeline to be on his show to promote their films and themselves.

Comedy Nights With Kapil was the top show on Indian TV in terms of TRP. Every Indian home tuned into it to watch their favourite stars make funny banter with Kapil Sharma. Then the show went off air from Colors. But Sony sniffed the opportunity and scooped up the wonder boy of Indian TV and gave him a prime time slot. And thus The Kapil Sharma Show was born.

Sony also paid him top money to be on their channel. He reportedly earns a whopping Rs. 60 lakhs per episode!

If you do the math, that is almost Rs. 5 Crore EVERY MONTH. In comparison, Alia Bhatt charges Rs. 4 crore PER MOVIE.

 

And it is not just Kapil Sharma who is raking in money. His friend Sunil Grover pockets a cool Rs. 10-11 lakhs per episode while Kiku Sharda and Ali Asgar take home Rs. 5-7 lakhs.

Whatever people thought, Kapil Sharma was a big deal. So much so that Colors apparently rerun his old episodes after their TRPs went down.

 

Despite high production costs, he still is able to generate a lot of money and profit for the channel he works for.

No wonder he is the top TV personality in the country and gets paid truckloads.

And he totally deserves it.
