A while back actor Kangana Ranaut spoke of the ‘self-made virus’ that was killing humans but healing Mother Earth. She added some suggestions for everyone to treat nature gently including family planning and population control.
According to Hindustan Times, taking that line of thought forward she has now tweeted that India should have strong laws around population control similar to China saying, “at least there should be fine or imprisonment for third child.”
We need strict laws for population control, enough of vote politics it’s true Indira Gandhi lost election and later was killed for taking this issue head on she forcefully sterilised people but looking at crisis today at least there should be fine or imprisonment for third child.

But when some people pointed out that she had 2 siblings herself, Rangoli and Akshit, she responded saying that was the norm in the past but we need to change with the changing times.

When another person pointed out that people in the country were dying due to a shortage of medicines and medical oxygen, she reiterated that the population problem was severe with 130 crore Indians. She added, “China may have population as much as India but land/resources are almost thrice.”
