Kangana Refers To Diljit Dosanjh As “Karan Johar Ke Paltu”, He Questions Her “Tameez”

Yesterday, actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh shared a video of an elderly woman named Mahinder Kaur and asked actress Kangana Ranaut to “Listen to this with proof. A person should not be so blind that you say whatever you feel like.” According to The Times of India, he was referring to Kangana’s tweet (now deleted) where she allegedly misidentified the Sikh woman as Bilkis Bano of Shaheen Bagh.

Kangana replied by calling him “Karan Johar ke paltu” and saying,

To this, he replied, “Are you a pet of all those people with whom you have worked in a film? Then the list will be long. This is not Bollywood but Punjab. Manipulating people by lying and playing with their emotions is something you know very well.”

On being referred to as a bootlicker, Diljit responded by saying, “You have no sense how to speak to someone’s mother or sister. You are a woman yourself and are calling another one would work for Rs 100. Our mothers of Punjab are like God to us. You have poked the hornet’s nest. Google this Punjabi now.”

Soon, their exchange got uglier. Diljit asked Kangana to not “steer the conversation in circles”. Sharing a photo of the elderly woman he added, “Do they appear to you as one who will incite violence? Did nobody teach you any etiquette of speaking?”

According to Hindustan Times, advocate Harkam Singh has sent a legal notice to the actress and demanded an apology for misidentifying the elderly woman.
