Kangana Dances To Kangari Song At Bro’s Reception, Says It Depicts A Woman’s Love For Mom

After the nuptials of singer Neha Kakkar and actress Kajal Aggarwal, Kangana Ranaut’s brother Aksht tied the knot with Ritu on November 12 at a destination wedding in Udaipur.

Hindustan Times quoted the actress saying,  “This is such a lovely time for my family and me, I am hosting my brother’s destination wedding in Udaipur where Ranauts originally hail from, leaving for my parents’ house now, because of corona it’s a small intimate gathering now but excitement is the same.”

Here are some happy pictures of the celebrations.

Yesterday, Kangana’s parents hosted a traditional Kangari wedding reception called Dham and the actress shared a video of the family dancing to a folk song.

She said, “I love folk music of any tradition for that matter, here’s a Kangari song sung by Pahadi artists at my brother’s dham today, meaning is simple… a woman expressing her love for her mother.”

Her gorgeous saree is designed by Sabyasachi and the Kullu handloom shawl (part of the pahadi attire) is by Bhutti Weavers Cooperative Society.

Congratulations to the newly wedded couple!
