According to TOI, Deepika Padukone has been summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in Mumbai in the alleged drug abuse angle linked with Bollywood. Earlier, the actress was in Goa shooting for Shakun Batra’s next film and has had to travel back to Mumbai for the interrogation.
However, in a video that is now being widely circulated online, a journalist claims to be chasing Deepika’s car while on her way to the Goa airport. The video grabbed several eyeballs because of one key element. The journalist kept repeating the same thing over and over again – “Teen gaadiyan hai aur Deepika ki gaadi un do gaadiyon ke beech mein hai.”
He went on to show the 3 cars moving forward in a straight line.
Have a look at the video here:
Earlier today, Deepika Padukone had left for Goa airport to reach Mumbai. The top Bollywood actress has been summoned by the NCB tomorrow.

People online claimed that mainstream journalism in India has reached a new low. Many people called it “noise” and “masala” instead of news and found it unbelievable how journalists are working on bizarre reportage these days.
This clip sums up the state of TV journalism today. The reporter here, Ashok Singhal, is senior to me. When I first started out as a political reporter over 20 years ago, he was a veteran on the field. This is what he’s doing now. https://t.co/ZIjCgSGhcl

It's awful to see that a veteran reporter like him following a car of actress just for Masala.#RanveerSingh#IStandWithIndianFarmers #Worldpharmacistday2020 #भाजपा_हटाओ_किसान_बचाओ #BiharElections #aajtak https://t.co/CzlhrqHtj5

It is truly disheartening to see the kind of ridiculous reportage that has been happening in recent times!
