F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Having premiered on September 22, 1994, the popular sitcom completed 25 years last month and gave us a big dose of nostalgia. And to commemorate this happy occasion, Google came up with seven Easter eggs – one for each of the show’s characters plus a glossary of words used exclusively on the show (like unagi, phalange, transponster and frienaissance).
Less than a month later, Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel Green gave fans the first reunion photo of the star cast since the show ended in 2004.
The selfie with co-stars Matt LaBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) also happened to be her Instagram debut. Needless to say, the photo went viral in no time.
According to The Guardian, the actress’ account which has only one post garnered 116,000 followers in an hour and subsequently crashed. Currently, she has over 6 million followers and about 8 million likes. People’s reactions to it range from happy tears, jumping with joy to GIFs of Janice saying ‘Oh My God’.
But amidst all the excitement, some also wondered why the selfie was in low-resolution and her phone became the butt of all jokes online.
The one where someone upgrades Jennifer Aniston's phone from an iPhone 3 so she can take better quality pics

You would have thought her money would've got her a phone with a decent camera on it

Am wondering what kind of camera phone Jennifer Aniston used to take this low-res photo? 🤔 https://t.co/M3089JbRjl

Jennifer Aniston joins Instagram with THIS picture and I have two comments:
1. I can die happy now
2. Why doesn't she have a better quality phone camera? pic.twitter.com/ZpWAf1lrVl— Olivia Foster (@Livsdarling) October 15, 2019
It might not be high-res, but it still manages to give us all the right feels, don’t you agree?
