Veteran Indian actor Jaya Bachchan hasn’t been on good terms with the paparazzi. Earlier, Uorfi Javed called her out when she said ‘I hope you fall’ to a paparazzi. And since then, she has come across as rude and an always angry woman.
But, looks like she had a change of heart recently when she was seen in a good mood, addressing the paps with respect and laughter. The actor was yesterday spotted at celebrity designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s fashion film premiere which was attended by the who’s who of the Bollywood film industry.
There, she surprised everyone as she posed for the media and talked to them like never before. Videos of her polite conversation with them have now gone viral.
The smiling Jaya Bachchan says to the camera persons, “Dekha hass rahi hun (See, I am smiling).” When someone greeted her with a namaste, she responded to him with a jolly-good ‘namasteeee’.
She was also complimented by one of the journos covering the event. To him, she responded, “Who said that? You did? Wow.”
In another video, she also explained to the paps that “Jab aisa hota hai na, toh main photo dene ko taiyaar hun (When it is like this, I am ready to give pictures)” pointing at the organized photo setup with the photographers standing in a queue and waiting for the celebrities to arrive and be clicked.
She added, “But jab kuch personal hota hai aur app log chup kar photo lete ho, merko acha nahi lagta (I don’t like it when you people hide and click pictures and intrude on my privacy).”
She even spoke to the media persona and clicked pictures with them.
People were surprised to see her in a good mood.
