Those in the stadium celebrated this win by waving the tricolor and singing ‘Chak De India’. While others who watched the game on TV took to the streets and burst crackers like Diwali.

And amid several such videos floating on the internet, a video of BCCI Secretary Jay Shah from the Dubai International Stadium has got the worst of patriotic desis online. In the clip, Shah is seen refusing to wave the tricolor flag when it was offered to him after India’s win.

Several people online associated multiple theories as the reason behind Shah’s refusal to wave the Indian national flag. He was massively criticized online.
