Many people nowadays are reluctant to get married. From wanting to focus on building their careers to not feeling the need to get tied for life with someone else, there are several reasons why one chooses to not get married or to get married at an older age.

Japan is currently battling such a situation where people are unwilling to get married or are marrying at an age where they can no longer have children of their own, thereby reducing the country’s overall birth rate.
