Japanese Man Gets A Sushi So ‘Fresh’, That It Comes Alive And Starts Wiggling

With Instagram and Snapchat becoming more and more popular each day, many people have their cameras always at the ready. They are continuously snapping and putting stories and pictures up for the world to see. Almost everyone has at least once taken a picture of their food in an attempt to be a food blogger.

Well, this story is no different. Okay, it’s a little different, but still!

This Twitter user shoumizo3446 snapped his food at a Japanese restaurant. But he discovered that his clam sushi or “hokkigai” was still moving when it was served.

How fresh is your seafood? Definitely not this much.

The place was Sushiro, a conveyer belt sushi chain based in Japan which served surf clam sushi. The sushi was alive and wriggling on the plate while the man poked it with his chopsticks.

The video he shared didn’t take long to go viral. Twitterati were partly fascinated and partly disgusted and disturbed by the live clam but retweeted the video nonetheless.

Watch the video here:

The man, however, didn’t seem to mind the moving clam. In tweets, he revealed that he did eat the dish and that it was “very delicious.”

After watching this, I’m sure you’ll think twice before ordering your next platter of sushi. I’m definitely staying off both sushi and seafood for a while, the video is still way too fresh (no, I didn’t just crack that joke!)
