If you were ever a Gossip Girl fan, you’d know how dreamy and landmark debutante balls are. For young ladies of prestigious families, this is their official introduction to the high society. And this year, at Paris’ Le Bal des Débutantes, we saw some royal Indian blood, Prince Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur!
Fondly known as ‘Pacho’, Prince Padmanabh Singh made his debut at one of the most high profile events of Parisian high society with none other than Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe, on his arm!
The dopplegänger daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe was dressed in a stunning custom-made Giambattista Valli gown and Payal Mehta custom jewels for the evening.
And with the dapper Prince playing ‘cavalier‘ to her, this evening was nothing short of a fairy tale!
They even waltzed on the dance floor to the tunes of La La Land which drew collective sighs from everyone present!

Whoa! Doesn’t it look a scene straight out of a Princess Diaries movie? *sigh*
It definitely was thanks to the sheer number of royals in attendance!
Talking about princesses, Padmanabh Singh’s sister, former Princess Gauravi Kumari, was also one of the many starry-eyed debutantes taking the floor.
Le Bal des Débutantes, or just Le Bal, was also where Isha Ambani made her society debut some time back. And this year too, there were several notable names present amongst the lot.
If royalty made its presence felt, then could Bollywood be far behind? Before she makes her Bollywood debut in KJo’s Student of the Year 2, Ananya Pandey made her Le Bal debut with Prince Philip d’Arenberg.
Her pictures were shared by Mommy dearest Bhavana Pandey, who was there with husband Chunky Pandey, to witness this proud moment.
There she is posing oh-so-perfect in her Jean Paul Gaultier evening gown with the best backdrop Paris has to offer!
For the waltz rehearsal, Ananya looked cute as a button in an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla number!
She shone bright like the soon to be star that she is for the after-party, dressed in a knockout Monisha Jaisingh outfit!
The Pandey family had another moment in the spotlight, what with Ananya’s cousin Ahaan Panday playing cavalier to the Princess Alice of Belgium!
He even posted a picture with his sister and can we see the Pandey genes are working their magic well!
