August 23, 2023, has been etched in the golden history of India as the day when we landed on the moon, becoming the 4th country in the world to do so. Chandrayaan-3’s successful soft landing on the surface of the moon made us a significant player in the global space community. And top of that, we became the first country in the world to land in uncharted territory near the moon’s lunar south pole.
ISRO’s incredible feat has made Indians across the world proud and it is only fair to treat every member of the organization with our utmost respect and adoration.
Hence, when ISRO Chairman Dr S Somnath boarded an IndiGo flight, he was welcomed with a round of applause from fellow passengers and crew members. A flight attendant also handed over a few goodies and eatables to him.
A video of the incident was shared by IndiGo flight attendant Pooja Shah. She wrote, “Felt privileged getting a chance to serve Mr S. Somanath on board our INDIGO flight.”
