Irrfan Khan Reveals That He’s Suffering From A Rare Disease, Says Will ‘Not Give Up’

Irrfan Khan is undoubtedly the most underrated Khan in the film Industry. That and the most versatile too. Be it the many characters he has played on the silver screen or the kind of preparation that allows him to get under the skin of the character, Irrfan’s body of work is proof- he is a powerhouse performer!

But sometimes, irrespective of how valiant you have been, life plays out cruel jokes that jolt you from within. And unfortunately, Irrfan’s life has played out something similar in a way he had never expected it to…

In a Twitter post, the 51-year-old has confessed to having contracted a rare disease that has shaken him up. He wrote, 

“The last fifteen days, my life has been a suspense story. Little had I known that my search for rare stories would make me find a rare disease.

I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible.”

Earlier, his spokesperson had released a statement saying he has been diagnosed with a severe case of jaundice.

In such times, he also requested a certain section of media to not speculate.
