Moral policing is no news in India. Be it dragging couples (consenting and of legal age) out of hotel rooms or forcing patriotism down people’s throat, we, the people of democratic India have seen it all. But nothing beats social media outrage and its frenzy!
While many celebs have fallen victim to cyber bullying and its sorts, it is cricketer Irfan Pathan who is lately been on the radar, trolled and slammed for the most ridiculous reasons. Remember when religious fanatics decided to school Irfan about Islamic principles because his wife’s arms were bare and she had put nail polish in a picture he had posted Well, the haters are at it again and it is even more absurd than the last time?
Irfan Pathan recently celebrated Raksha Bandhan, just like you and me, and took to Instagram to share his glee.
Pretty harmless, right? WRONG.
