If you’re an iPhone user, I would suggest you take a deep breath, calm down and enjoy the friendly trolling by Huawei. Because let’s admit it, there’s no freaking need to queue up to buy the brand new iPhone. Like all things in life (e.g. waiting until the plane reaches a halt at the runway), this too can wait.

But, as always, with the iPhone ready to hit the stores today, a huge crowd had gathered outside the stores to grab the shiny piece of stainless steel. And trust me when I say, they stayed up the whole night to bag one!
Now that’s some crazy crowd? Isn’t it! But Chinese smartphone maker Huawei had a crazier idea (and probably a smirk on its face)
In a bid to troll devout Apple fans promote their product, the company handed out power banks to the people who had lined up for the iPhone. According to reports, nearly 200 powerbanks were distributed among the fans by Huawei staff.
Moreover, the powerbanks had a message on it viz. “You’ll need it.” Ouch!
In case you are wondering, the message is nothing but a cheeky dig at the iPhone XS which comes with a measly 2,658 mAh battery compared to Huawei’s latest smartphone, the P20 Pro that has a massive 4000 mAh battery.
Kudos to the marketing team at Huawei for this sneaky little stunt. You have our blessings (*cough* Android users *cough*)
Well played Huawei! Now can you send me that powerbank too, I’m not on iPhone, but my battery dies too, you know! 🙁
