Are you an extrovert or an introvert? Can’t answer this question instantly? Is it because sometimes you feel like an extrovert while you think like an introvert? Well, it’s definitely a confused state of mind, but the good news is, you know you’re an ambivert. That is a combination of both – Extrovert and Introvert.

Here are the things that prove you have an introvert hidden inside an extrovert’s body.

1. Your friends often push you ahead to strike up a conversation because they think it’s an everyday task for you, while…

You’re trying to figure out ways to get out of that situation

2. There are times when you can easily mix up with people and become the life of a party. And then there are times when you’re all aloof

Not because you’re angry or sad but you’re just too shy and you don’t even know why?

3.  Your group mates often ask you to start with the presentation because they think you can easily pull it off without feeling nervous

But you actually don’t know how to get rid of those sweaty palms just minutes before your presentation.

4. You love to travel alone, but secretly wish to meet some cool fellow travelers on the road

It’s weird. You can’t explain why you want to go alone and yet not be alone.

5. When you’re with your friends or meet someone for the first time, you talk like you’ve been friends with them since forever

But once you’re out of that place, you’re done. You never continue it on phone or messages.

6. You crave for your space as much as you like spending time with your friends and family. People wonder what makes you like that; but that’s just how you are

You love to be around people, but you’re also waiting for that moment to go back home to your empty bedroom.

7. You talk to anyone and everyone but you have only 2 or 3 real friends with whom you are comfortable

When you count your friends, you can only think of a couple of names.

8. You absolutely dislike putting up status updates and pictures on facebook, but there are days when you really want to do all of that to show your quirky side

You don’t want to make your private life public, but you still want to be in the limelight.

9. You want people to notice you in the crowd, but you don’t want them to publicly acknowledge the fact that they did notice you. Why? Because you’re shy

A part of you loves it when people notice you and talk to you, but the other part of you just wants to shut away.

10. There are times when you want to get clicked and you pose like a pro and other times you can’t even stand straight on your legs

Some days you’re best friends with the lens and other days you simply prefer standing miles away from it.

11. There are times when you feel terribly shy to place your order in a coffee shop, and then there are times when people are intimidated by you

How should one behave around you? No idea.

12. You don’t really like to meet your relatives but when you do meet them you’re completely in the talking flow

But then again, you don’t keep in touch or talk to them until you meet them next.

13. Your friends think it is easy to mix you up with their friends because you’re talkative and funny, but internally you don’t approve of that idea

It is not because they make you uncomfortable, it’s just you. Sometimes you’re not in the mood to entertain your friend’s friends.

14. Your family thinks you can easily fake being nice to people even when you don’t want to. But that isn’t the reality because they don’t understand that you’re just stuck in between

You can talk to people like they are your long lost friends and at the time can give them a cold shoulder, because you’re shy and confused about how to behave.

Being an ambivert is really difficult. It’s almost like having an identity crisis. You simply don’t know how to behave or react towards things. It is really difficult to explain why you behave the way you behave. There are times when you behave like a free-spirited animal and at the same time all you want to do is, lock yourself up in the bedroom and do your thing. *Sigh*
