Intolerance. Lately, this word has created a lot of furor and resentment in our country. From SRK to Aamir Khan, Anupam Kher to Paresh Rawal there’s a lot of hullabaloo around it.

Against the backdrop of growing intolerance and subsequent acts of violence, Raghuram Rajan said – Tolerance means not being so insecure about one’s ideas that one cannot subject them to challenge, it implies a degree of detachment that is absolutely necessary for mature debate.
