This Indian Tribute To Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar Soundtrack Will Leave You Spellbound

From one of the greatest film-makers came one of the greatest cinemas of all times, ‘Interstellar’! Not only the movie gave us an inexplicable experience of watching an extraordinary visualisation of a popular science theory, it gave us a mind-numbing soundtrack. The director, Christopher Nolan chose Hans Zimmer (who previously scored Nolan’s Batman film trilogy and Inception) to design the soundtrack of the movie and without a doubt, he nailed it! The critically acclaimed soundtrack was nominated for Original Score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards prior to its digital release.

But, not a lot of people know that Zimmer didn’t even know the plot of the film when he was asked to design the score. One fine day, Nolan approached him and said, “I am going to give you an envelope with a letter in it. One page. It’s going to tell you the fable at the center of the story. You work for one day, then play me what you have written.” And, history was created!

Paying tribute to this legendary piece of work is a big responsibility but Indian Jam Project has done complete justice to it. The group plays the Indian version of combined symphony of the tracks, “First Step” and “Stay” from the movie. You are going to love this!

Great work boys! 😀
