Salman Khan is an eccentric person. And his eccentricity often lands him into some tight spots. And recently, in an interview with Spotboye about his shooting experience for Sultan, Khan made some very questionable comments when asked about the wrestling scenes and his preparation for them.
“When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight.”
Further in the interview, he also said, “Leave every second vice in your list – that’s the mantra I follow. And I have left everything one by one. When it was between coffee and cigarettes, I quit coffee. Between cigarettes and drinks, I quit the stick. Between the drinks and women, I have chosen women. Ab iske baad duniya chhod do! But I will never quit movies,” very delicately implying that women are also a vice.
These comments made by Salman khan haven’t gone down well with social media, and Twitter was sent into a frenzy. Soon, #InsensitiveSalman started trending and Twitter expressed their unabashed distaste.

Salman Khan should keep his mouth zipped. Each time he opens it he puts his foot into it. Pathetic rape analogy. pic.twitter.com/bbcwMuz5cS

#InsensitiveSalman Salman's comment – disgusting. But most of us use the term lightly – my boss raped me, got raped in exam. All guilty no?

How does Salman know, how a raped woman would feel? I wonder. How would anyone know !! #InsensitiveSalman

Rather than Raped woman, he should have said he felt like the audience who came out of theatre after watching his movies #InsensitiveSalman

It’s high time celebrities start to get more considerate towards people before making any such ridiculous statements.
