Prime Minister Indira Gandhi declared a state of emergency across the country on June 25, 1975, and the face of India changed overnight. This chapter has been lost in the pages of our history, but it did impact a lot of lives, and several people rose to fight against the government. Madhur Bhandarkar’s new film called ‘Indu Sarkar’ tells one such compelling story and the trailer looks super promising.

The cast looks absolutely perfect. Anupam Kher, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Kirti Kulhari have embodied their character beautifully and the conviction in each dialogue is literally breaking the screen. I’ll leave the rest of the trailer for you to interpret. It looks glorious. Hope the film is as good.
