In general, a lot of us desi people are superstitious to the extent that it’s not even funny. I have had days where my mom didn’t let me have eggs before an exam because I would get a big fat zero (which I did end up getting but for other reasons). It’s bad enough that we have ardent followers of bizarre superstitions already. People making bizarre bets with the universe to make important decisions just makes things worse.
I say this because a person online asked the good people of Twitter if they made “random bets” with the universe. For example, “If I can throw this pen into a drawer, I’ll get an A on my assignment.”
Do you guys ever place random bets with the universe like if I can throw this pen into that drawer I’ll get an A on my assignment ??? Just me??
