These days, we desis have also adopted this tradition like many other modern things. Recently, a video of a couple getting married as per Indian traditions went viral online.
In the short clip, the groom is seen tying the mangalsutra on the bride while a couple of their family members help him with it.
And while the bride is patiently sitting at the mandap lit with the sacred fire in front of the pandit ji and all her close ones, she takes the liberty of kissing her husband. It’s not even a proper kiss, just a sweet little peck on his lips.
