A coworker of mine comes to office on his bicycle, every day. And green in envy, because the model of bike is a lovely one and I love riding bicycles but don’t have any, I try to find errands [honestly, read excuses] to run every day to borrow his bike for a ride.
Biking is one of the greatest pleasures that a human can have. This almost always safe way of travelling helps keep our body fit while not exhausting it completely. And if the path you’re biking on has some serene beauty surrounding it, then nothing can be greater than that. So here I present 10 biking trails around India, that you should totally explore.
1. Gangtok to Darjeeling
This is one of the shorter routes but mountain biking is no easy game, so you should be both an expert and properly equipped to do so!
2. Manali to Leh
This is one of the hardest routes to navigate through, and you need to be an expert rider to do so. But it’s worth the sweating, trust me!
3. Old silk route
The old silk route does require experts to cycle on it, but you can get your private show of sunlight kissing the mountains, and it’s just mindblowing!
4. Through the Nilgiris
Cycling through the plantations of Nilgiri is everything that you need to feel closer to nature.
5. Kochi to Alleppey
The roads allow you to have a breathtaking view of the backwaters while you ride. It is also one of the easiest ways to conquer.
