Anurag Basu spotted Kangana in a coffee shop in Mumbai and offered her a role in his film ‘Gangster’.  The film became a massive hit and gave us the Queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut.

Ace designer, Rohit Bal first saw Arjun Rampal in a discotheque in Delhi and suggested that he try modelling. There was no looking back for Arjun from then on!

Akshay’s story to the world of films is very interesting. After returning from Bangkok, Akshay started teaching martial arts. A photographer friend of his recommended modelling to him. He missed his flight to Bangalore for a modelling assignment and started knocking at studio doors with his portfolio. As luck would have it, he got a film the very same day!

The ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ actor was working as an assistant to Shanoo Sharma at Yash Raj films for 6 years. Bhumi would often double up for actors and give auditions. One fine day, her audition tape landed on Aditya Chopra’s desk and Bhumi was cast in ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.

Yesteryear superstar, Jeetendra’s family was into the business of selling imitation jewellery. He was supplying jewellery to V Shantaram and in 1959, when the director cast him as actor Sandhya’s body double in ‘Navrang’!
