Kolkata Farmer’s Daughter Grooves To ‘Top Lesi Poddi’ & Becomes ‘America’s Got Talent’ Finalist

Remember the Kolkata farmer’s daughter and her dance partner performed salsa on the Bollywood song ‘Tattad Tattad’ and floored the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent’? This talented desi dance duo called ‘BAD Salsa’, who previously won season 4 of ‘India’s Got Talent’, has now made it to the finale of season 15 of ‘America’s Got Talent’.

Their stellar semi-final performance was on the South Indian song ‘Top Lesi Poddi’ from the movie ‘Iddarammayilatho’, which ultimately secured their place for the finals. Their quick air-throws and turns left the judges and audience in awe.

In the video, judge Heidi Klum can be seen praising their performance saying, “It feels almost like it’s on fast-forward because it is lightning speed.” Judge Howie Mandel added, “Tonight, it is all about dance. That was amazing and worthy of the final.”

The duo comprises of 15-year-old Sonali Majumdar and 21-year-old Maraju Sumanth from the city of Kolkata. They took to Instagram to announce the news and thank their fans for all the love and support they’ve received.
