Imran Khan Says ‘Trees Produce Oxygen At Night’ & Twitter Asks Him To Go Back To School

We have all studied the process of photosynthesis in school. It was a topic marked as ‘Imp with five stars’ in our textbooks and most probably the only question we were 100% sure would be asked in the exam. So, we, as kids learned the process of photosynthesis by heart!

But it seems like, Pakistan Prime Minister missed school on the day when the teacher taught the class the topic of photosynthesis. And hence, he made a major goof-up at a recent speech, reports News 18.

In a 15-second long video clip shared by a Pakistani journalist, Naila Inayat, it shows the PM talking about the importance of trees. Referring to how trees are responsible for oxygen production Imran Khan said, “Trees give oxygen at night”.

Actually, trees produce oxygen during the process of photosynthesis which happens in the presence of sunlight, that’s during the day obviously!

PM’s gaffe has got Twitter rolling with laughter, reports India Today. People are asking Imran Khan to go back to school.

This isn’t the first time Imran Khan has made such a bad goof up. Days back a video of him went viral where he said that Japan (in Asia) and Germany (in Europe) share borders.

The Oxford graduate surely needs to revise and closely scrutinize his school textbooks! What do you think about his blunder? Tell us!
