This Man Turned Snow On His Backyard Ice Rink Into A Beautiful Portrait Of Mona Lisa!

Snow is absolutely magical. No matter how your day has been or how grumpy you feel, fresh snowfall can make you forget all of it. And instantly put a dreamy smile on your face. And this year, we’ve been blessed with a lot of it. Places like Lahaul, Kinnaur and Manali turned into winter wonderlands with a spellbinding blanket of white. Surprisingly, even Delhi NCR’s hailstorm looked a tiny bit like ‘snowfall’.

Snow also means a lot of selfies, snow fights and snuggling. But have you ever seen it being turned into a piece of art? Robert Greenfield, a resident of Toronto, Ontario did exactly that. When fresh snow fell on his backyard ice rink, he turned it into Mona Lisa. With a shovel!

Watch this breathtaking time-lapse video of him in action. He calls it ‘Snowna Lisa’ and says it should be hung in the ‘Igloouvre’.

This is not exactly a masterpiece, but I present the Snowna Lisa! Oh, you think that's bad? Wait till I tell you it should be hanging in the Igloouvre.

Even Leonardo Da Vinci would be impressed. No wonder that this video has received so much praise and been featured in the news.

That’s not the only piece of art he’s attempted though. A while back he made this.

When it snows on your backyard rink, you gotta shovel. Might as well have some fun with it and turn it into the Chicago Blackhawks logo, right? Right.

For all those who thought shovelling snow was a big bore, this is an inspiration. Even mundane tasks can be turned into an expression of art. Have you ever used snow to make something completely unexpected?
